Sherwood Forest Railway

Miniature narrow gauge steam railway. The ride lasts circa 20 minutes and only costs £2 a head (2017). Once the ride is finished, there is a great play park for kids to lark about in and burn off some energy.

Play areas and bike hire at Sherwood Pines Country Park.
In several parts over a short forest trail. Mushroom Village for the younger visitors: Robin Hoods’ hide out for 7-12 year olds, den making areas, forest sculpture and boardwalk.
For juniors or adults, Segway Tours, zip wires, tarzan swings to climb, clamber and conquer. Minimum age 10 years. Under 16’s need to be supervised by an adult.
Go Ape at Sherwood Pines
